Reworking the Hybrid SSB Transceiver
The Hybrid SSB Transceiver has been reworked. I had a problem with the ILI9341 when you would hit the PTT the screen would disappear and that even occurred when the Digital LO was operated off of a separate supply. I bypassed everything and nothing cured the issue.
A switch over to a simple LCD, Juliano Blue, and no problem. I also added two band capability. The tube schematic follows closely to the Swan SB100 series of rigs.
Like the Swans no AGC and a ham about 5 miles away running 1.5 KW sure rips up the front end. I will add an AGC circuit to this as it will be a problem.
The audio output stage is an LM383 and if you touch the heat sink -- you will burn your finger -- I have an LM380 audio board and that will get swapped into the mix.
