I got this project PC to play with. It had already been preloaded with Win10, all I had to do was fill out the end user info.

AND you do get to see what I think is the most pertinent part of the install. The part that shows you just how little control that a end user has over his/hers privacy on their very own personal computer.

Sign in to any online account, search for any thing on the web, write a letter to your Mom or Pops and the list goes on all the while it's being reported to ?someone?. It really is despicable. We now live in a world that for the most part, enjoys some level of 'freedom'. Not free when you get key logged daily.

Enough of my rantings. You and I are all absolutely free to choose our own operating systems for ourselves. Windows is a Great operating system and some things, actually a lot of things just wouldn't work without it. I use it myself on one of my machines. It's probably not going anywhere soon either.

I have found a way to do most everything I used to do in windows on Linux. But I'm a FOG and don't have the same desires that a younger person does (AS far as computing goes that is). So you may be stuck in one OS. Shame. I say, be bold go where you have not gone before.

Just remember, it is not a prerequisite of windows (or any other OS) to be online 24/7/365. Be wise about what you share on any device running any OS. Remember, as long as we have electricity, there will be digital data out there and accessible to any one for any purpose. Any thing you have presented/exposed even on the slightest of whims, to the digital world is still there.

 I wish you safe Journeys'!

Thanks for watching!
