Installed by default: yay, Firefox, inxi & many other things not mentioned here.
Not installed by default: Flatpak, hunspell-en_us, Office suite, PDF viewer, screenfetch/neofetch,
sudo pacman -S flatpak && reboot to install flatpaks.
It is easy to see why EndeavourOS has maintained their ranking on Distrowatch.com. (3rd)
Hardly any fiddling around with the system itself. Mostly just add your favorite software & instantly start using EndeavourOS.
Many DE's available or the freedom to install your own choice.
It is very obvious to me that EndeavourOS is one of the best choices an end user can make for their desktops. Based on Arch and follows the same philosophy: KISS.
I honestly think that EndeavourOS could even be a great choice for any oncoming X-Windows user(s).
You may hesitate here but the truth is EndeavourOS has great support especially when it comes to mending the system to ensure a great work flow.
Package management is pacman and some find pacman counter-intuitive to most other package management systems. Arch provides an extensive man page on pacman & EndeavourOS has plenty of tips & tricks to overcome any confusion.
