Autoanalyzer Troubleshooting Basics: Clearing a Flow Cell
In this EZkem troubleshooting video, we will be clearing a flow cell by flushing the bubble (or particle) out of the flow cell with a syringe.
First, we determined that there was a problem with the flow cell (this can be caused by a bubble or a particle in the flow cell) by checking the serial communication values. The gain value of the sample side in the serial communication window was too high, a problem that was reflected in the rising baseline. In order to flush the flow cell, fill a syringe with the surfactant solution you are using, disconnect the waste line from the flow cell and inject the surfactant in with a quick push. After removing the syringe, check to see if the serial communication value gain settings are correct and if so, the bubble has been cleared.
