Aprite un po' quegli occhi - Tormey Woods (Age 19) at the Berlin Opera Academy
I had the chance to perform this aria with the Berlin Opera Academy while playing the title role in their 2019 production of "Le Nozze di Figaro", and it is by far my favourite of Figaro's three arias. I'm really happy with how the video turned out, hope you enjoy!
It was a wonderful opportunity to work with such a talented team mounting the production, with Nina Brazier directing it and Peter Leonard conducting, and I had an absolutely wonderful time spending a month in Berlin for rehearsals!
