A couple of weeks ago I had the wonderful opportunity to perform at the Abbaye de Cassan when I was asked to step in last minute for a concert with Eric Laur. Though I'd gone in feeling a little nervous, having only had a few days to learn the repertoire (a mix of Baroque and Spanish music), it ended up being an absolute blast and one of the most beautiful places I've performed!
This is a short clip from the concert of the piece "Revenge, revenge Timotheus Cries" from Handel's "Alexander's Feast". Due to me stepping in so last minute, the orchestra had only received the score the day before the rehearsal, and I think we were all so caught up in the music that we ended up doing the B-section a lot slower than we'd rehearsed!
Hope you enjoy!
