Growing Melons in Grow Bags From Seed
In this episode, I plant some Kajari Melon and Sweet Passion Cantaloupe in 15 gallon grow bags using some Miracle Grow Potting Mix. I added a little extra bone meal and organic fertilizer to the potting mix to help get things going. Here in Minnesota, we are in Zone 4 so it is a very short growing season for melons. The Kajari is about 60 days to maturity and the Sweet Passion is about 85 days to maturity, so I'm pretty sure the Kajari is going to be good to go, but the Sweet Passion might be cutting it close.

Plenty of lessons learned, like the background noise was fighting me on this one, such as all the lawn mowers, dogs, and people busting out "summertime" vehicles.
