La Crosse Wind Speed Weather Station: Unbox, Setup, and Battery Problems Solved
In this episode, I set up the La Crosse Technologies Wind Speed Weather Station that I picked up on clearance from Lowe's. The weather station was an interesting idea as I was noticing that the Weather Apps on my phone were frequently under estimating the temperature this summer and I wanted something that would be a bit more accurate and specific to my location. Little did I know that this particular weather station likes cheap normal alkaline batteries, as I picked up some Energizer Max High Energy batteries that caused issues with the Display Unit. It's been 6 months now and the weather station is going strong
Plenty of lessons learned, like sometimes it's best to wait out doing a video as I would have felt really bad saying that this was a good weather station with those batteries, just to have it be just about unusable.
