Elden Ring Sound Design - Iron Fist Alexander - Dialogue
Another NPC covered. Alexander is a very unique NPC, despite him being Biorr-Siegmeyer adjacent. I mean, when have YOU ever spoken to a talking pot?
Alexander has a couple of unused voicelines, mainly a different wording used during his last encounter and hitting him too hard during his first meeting. To my surprise, Alexander is the most talkative of all the Elden Ring characters I have covered so far. The reason? He has variations depending on encounters you might miss. Your first encounter with him can be Stormhill, Gael Tunnel, or Redmane Castle. You can miss his first or second hole situation. You might continue hitting him despite his pleas not to, when you need oil.
The Gael Tunnel dialogue is the most varied. You can meet him for the first time from both sides, you can meet him for a second time from both sides as well. All in all, this makes Alexander go beyond characters like Ranni and Gideon (250 lines or so) with his 270~ lines. Very neat.
