In this tutorial, I will take you through the process of adding an MX Record in your cPanel using DNS Zone Editor.

What is MX Record?
MX Record also Known Mail exchanger record specifies the mail server responsible for accepting email messages on behalf of a domain name.
You can add an MX Record to a domain using the Zone Editor
Step 1
Login to your cPanel.
At the domain section, Click on Zone Editor.
The Zone Editor section opens.
Step 2
In this tutorial, I will be creating an MX Record for my shostdemo.tk domain. So, I will click on the MX Record beside the domain shostdemo.tk
A small window will pop open.
Step 3
Enter the required details for the Priority and the Destination.
I will enter 0 for the priority and mail.shostdemo.tk for the destination.
After that, Click Add an MX Record. Your MX Record is successfully created.
Step 3
To verify the Record, click on the Manage beside the DNSSEC of the Domain you Added the Record to. The Zone Editor Page opens Showing the various Zone Records of your Domain. And all the DNS Records you have created for the Domain.
Scroll down and see the record I added. i.e. Priority and Destination.
