It is the middle of winter, so I'm making the most of the -4 degree night and brewing a dark lager. One of my favourite beers is Sapporo Black, I'm trying to reproduce it but I'd like to make something of the same style.
For My Dark Lager, I used
1.2kg Vienna Malt Barley
1.2kg Pilsner Malt
80g Light Chocolate Malt
10L of water for Mash
4L of water for sparge
10g of Pride of Ringwood at the start of boil
15g of Hallertau last 10 minutes of boil
1 sachet of raw sugar into each bottle
Have fun brewing and I hope your beer tastes as good as mine.
