How to Bold Text in InDesign Directly
Open the application, and then highlight the text you want to bold.
Press Command + Shift + B (Mac OS), or Ctrl + Shift + B (Windows OS)....
You can bold the font or make it thicker by adding weight.
However, to save time and tedious repetition of the same task. Create a character style and apply to text as shown.
