I love getting to explore upstate NY, it has so much to offer!
When you say New York you tend to only think of the city, buildings, hustle and bustle - but that is such a small part of the state!
Even an hour out of the city and you have gorgeous country full of bush mountains and lakes.
We decided to do a little getaway right before Thanksgiving, November 2020.
Booked this awesome log cabin, in a remote part close to the town of Johnsburg.
We spent the day hiking Crane Mountain which is one of my favourite memories, getting to see the pond frozen was something I've never had the chance to experience before.
