Hello friends, what will you do if you want to hide virtual (soft) keyboard when you are developing an android app which contains focusable editable views like EditText etc which shows keyboard automatically when we launch an activity...?
I have short and simple solution for this problem. The following tutorial will show you to hide virtual keyboard in your application until user touch one of the editable view. Also by tapping show keyboard button you can show android keyboard. Here in this tutorial I have taken 2 buttons one is to show keyboard and other is to hide keyboard. Have a look at the code which is put onclick event on button. You will definitely find it easy. Now let us understand this concept programmatically.
