Not every battery that fits is right for your car. Make sure you have the correct group size, or physical dimension of the battery, for your vehicle. Cold Cranking Amps (CCAs) are a measure of electrical energy and they can vary among battery group sizes.
Do you plan on installing a car battery yourself? It's a good idea to wear safety gloves and glasses to avoid any possible battery acid from getting on yourself or your clothes.
If you're using a mechanic for your car battery maintenance and installation, be sure to check the quality of the work. Some things to look for include coated battery terminals, a clean battery top and missing or loose brackets.
