More than 10 years in my fitness journey, I try to keep everything in balance:
1. Consistent Meal Timing
Eat smaller, balanced meals at regular intervals (every 3-4 hours).
Focus on incorporating a variety of nutrients in each meal.
Ensure you consume proteins, healthy fats, carbohydrates, and fiber.
2. Mindful Eating
Pay attention to hunger and fullness cues.
Avoid distractions while eating to better recognize when you're satisfied.
Chew slowly and savor each bite to enhance digestion and enjoyment.
3. Strength Training
Incorporate resistance exercises using weights, resistance bands, or body weight.
Focus on different muscle groups on different days to allow for recovery.
Aim for at least two days of strength training per week.
4. Low-Impact Workouts
Standing workouts, yoga, walking or Pilates, which are gentle on the joints but effective for fitness.
These can improve flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular health without high impact.
