Today I will go through a question to count the number of trailing zeros in a product.
This type of question is very popular in mathematical olympiads and it requires some intuition and knowledge on prime factorization and decimal notation. The key is to break down the question into tracking quantity of some known, exact factor. Then what remains is to carefully calculate that quantity by analyzing how frequent the factor shows up in the sequence.
