Edge Detection with Laplacian Operator in Affinity Photo's Custom Blur
The default edge detection (Filters/Detect/Detect Edges) does a fair job but you can't control it. So here's another way to quickly find edges using what is called the 'Laplacian' operator, including several sets of numbers you can just plug into the Custom Blur panel in the splendid Affinity Photo.
