Zoom Vs. Cleanfeed - Audio Streaming Comparison
A few teachers have brought up Cleanfeed as an alternative option for streaming audio. Last year, I did some experimenting to see if it could be used in my workflow and I ultimately decided against it. It requires you to run the 2 programs simultaneously (that's not that big of a deal) however it doubled the amount of time prepping for lessons along with my post-lesson workflow.
I just now did a test using the exact same audio environment. While Cleanfeed does keep the frequencies in tact a little bit better while streaming, for me, there is nominal difference when comparing the entire package.
With that said: Those that have internet streaming issues and or getting poor audio results consistently, this would definitely be something to look into.
What I didn't test was latency - last year, I was actually getting poorer results via Cleanfeed. So definitely NOT an option for experimenting with playing together.
