Zoom - Test Mic Input Levels
If you have issues with sound distortion, it's most likely your microphone level in Zoom is set too high. Sometimes the default sets to maximum.
Go to:
Settings/Preferences
Audio
Click on the Scrubber on 'Input Volume' and lower value
