Hi, it's back to four months ago at the Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia's 66-anniversary open day held in Kuantan AB. Did our little walkabout when the crowd started clear the static display area as it drizzled. Our focus was on all the assets being displayed and some interviews (most of the personnel declined when I told them we are YouTube and Facebook based). Anyhow, managed to get some close-up views of the ACs' weapons and gear used, which is a rare sight for us. The "brand new" still hot from the oven Mighty Hornet M45-07 was on display and two new support vehicles as well.
Thank you to the two officers who were willing to be interviewed. Oh, we met up with a number of friends from the AF and a few of you guys as well. Was a fun trip, but I can't say about the drive back...
