A new live rendition of ‘Heading West’ on my Fender Stratocaster.
A song about the plight of refugees. I wrote it after seeing too much human misery on the daily news of people in terrible conditions, trying to reach safer havens.
This recording was filmed by Cy Leong at a cozy living room concert in Seneffe.
It is always a joy to play ‘Heading West at such venues, since it is hard for people not to start resonating with the subject.
