If betta beads shrink prematurely, this is a quick indicator that the water hardness is not optimal for your betta - we recommend changing the water with soft (deionized or specially filtered) betta waters

I’m definitely buying more!
My poor friend has been sick lately, so he’s been a little down in he dumps while being treated with medicines. So I thought I would try these beads to give him a little pick me up, Im so glad I did! The video doesn’t do it justice. He loves them, and started playing with them. I can’t get a good video unfortunately because he’s obsessed with my presence and gets distracted when I film him. But let me tell ya, these fun little soft/bouncy beads really seemed to make him happy again, I’ll definitely be using them to replace his usual rocks that I use in his tank. They look good too! I’ll be interest to see how they hold up in a week or 2, and during water changes. But for now, I’m just happy they seem to brighten his mood for now.
