Longest lasting card reader.
As a professional photographer I literally can't afford for my kit to let me down. Out of all the card readers I've used over the last 15 years this one has been the best. I've just bought a spare but the current reader has been going strong for over 6 years now. I think that the fixed cable is a bonus as the cables/sockets are usually the week points for most card readers. Bent pins are usually only an issue if you press in a CF card to hard without lining it up first. I've never had bent pins with this. I find if I drop the CF into place and then gently push it the rest of the way best pins are never an issue.
