We spent today in old Cairo, enjoying the festive atmosphere leading up to Ramadan.
Hoda took us out for lunch at one of the most famous restaurants in Egypt, serving exactly one dish—koshery. This is the ultimate in cozy comfort food. It’s a big bowl of pasta and beans with toppings, and the staff gave us a tutorial on how to eat it. Join us around the table for a favorite Egyptian dish.
