Adventures in Egypt: The Egyptian Museum, Cairo
Welcome to Adventures with Sarah! For years now, we have been anticipating the opening of the GEM, or Grand Egyptian Museum. It’s still not fully opened, they say any day now.
In the meantime, we are still visiting the home of King Tut’s treasure, the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo. Even after the new museum fully opens, this will still house many artifacts since the collection is enormous. Here’s a little idea of what else there is to see, aside from the famous boy king.
