RootsTech-2022 - Day 3 - Complete Data Error Report
Today is Day 2 of RootsTech 2022.
In previous years, I would be in the Family Tree Maker booth, in the "Help Desk". I will continue to virtually be "in the booth".
Good file maintenance includes the use of the Data Error Report. Will demonstrate the us of the Data Error Report to identify errors in the file that might not be seen just looking at the various screens in Family Tree Maker. .
For example, from the list of Errors to be checked:
Birth date before mother was 13
Would result in this message:
The birth date occurred before his/her mother was 13
The information behind this error are on two different screens, and I know that I might not see this.
Will demonstrate running this report for the first time, will show how the profile is "Marked" so that it can be resolved in the future. After all, it would take an Record to help resolve this problem.

Please keep the Software MacKiev Team in your thoughts and prayers. They would normally be at RootsTech, but due to the Virtual RootsTech, they should be in their homes in the Ukraine. I understand that they are safe, but may have been relocated. I have met many of the Team and I can call them friends
