Chamomile drying (Chamomilla recutita) – remotely controlled herbs dryer
Our HKS series floor type chamber dryers are able to provide you with a significant drying capacity, handling up to several tons of material per 24 h batch.
With 40 m2 of effective area, they are the largest standard batch dryers HERBAS offers.
They are ideal for herbal material – like chamomile (Chamomilla recutita, Matricaria chamomilla), mint (Mentha), nettle (Urtica), lemon balm (Melissa), etc.
They have to be installed on flat concrete foundation and can be installed outside.
At the heart of the dryers showcased in the video are Herbas HT series thermal generator on gas which provides clean burning process and no ash, while not requiring refilling operations like in cases with biomass or fuel oil once installed. Also available are biomass and fuel oil options, both providing unique advantages. Biomass (nut shells, kernels, pellets, wood chips, etc.) gives our users sustainable and affordable solution, is automatically dosed, and is available with central refilling system requiring less labour during fuel refill. Fuel oil, on the other hand, is resupplied in the tank and does not adhere to stricter regulations like in case of gas option.
With automatic recirculation according to the user set program, by keeping the air at optimum temperature and relative humidity, you can save energy and reduce drying time.
Our new software (available on demand) enables you to connect to the dryer's controller via any device, let's you check in all the parameters and even change all of the program and settings remotely, from the comfort of your home or office!
Featuring double doors at the front, user has easy access to the inside, even with a telescopic handler or telehandler.
Lamps in the front and in the thermal generator chamber at the back provide good visibility during the night.
