Unprecedented CHEATER INVASION - Halo is INFESTED!
Cheaters are invading Halo and nothing's being done to stop them...
Easy Anti-Cheat has decent tools to prevent players from cheating under its supervision, but those tools aren't seeming to be utilized well. Apex Legends and other games which rely on EAC may not be so free of cheaters, but EAC may not be the culprit in all cases. Internal security measures need to be implemented in games, whether or not there's a third party anti-cheat service involved.
343 Industries have left The Master Chief Collection and Halo Infinite in an unacceptable state of security, with little to no prevention done by their in-house anti-cheat called Arbiter. With the addition of Easy Anti-Cheat, there likely won't be any noticeable improvements to Arbiter, which presents concerns for a number of reasons.
As of March 14th, Halo Infinite's had a networking overhaul with a network model that's the same as the one from Halo 5, which is 8 years old. Several exploits can be done in the game now using network manipulation (e.g., lag switch), so cheaters are popping up left and right in games.
