Halo 2 is one of the greatest games ever made, but some people in the community choose to shame others for enjoying it. Talk about betrayal. 🤦♂️
One of the biggest arguments against the game is that "it's too slow." Some will say things like, "Classic Halo had NO movement tech!" What are these jumps then? I always wonder if the people who say that had even played Halo 2 during its prime or if they've put enough time into it to learn the mechanics and maps. While it's okay to have preferences, perspectives should have fairness with every respective factor taken into account.
In the early days of Halo, movement was learned and acquired after developing enough skills and knowledge. The same can be said in the later Halo games, but not nearly to the same extent. Many forms of movement were easily accessible and given out more freely, especially with the existence of advance mobility mechanics in modern Halo.
There's nothing wrong with liking one game over another, but it's crucial to be fair.
