Each and Every Child Deserves a Quality Education
Each and every child in this country deserves to receive the same quality education. That is why it is high time that we start viewing education through the lens of equity instead of equality. Equity acknowledges that all children are different with different needs. Last night, I spoke on the House floor after I introduced my Education and Excellence in American Education Act to highlight the need to move towards funding an equitable education system in this country. By changing the way we view education, we will be on the path to helping all students reach their full potential.
