Refinishing Gel Coat - Hobie 16
It's finally time to give the 1979 Hobie 16 new life with a new coat of Gel coat. We will be using a 50/50 mix of Gel coat and Duratec for air curing and minimal post processing.
Materials Used:
-Total Boat Gel Coat (No Wax)
-Duratec Hi-Gloss Additive
-HVLP Spray Gun w/ 2.5mm Needle and Cap
-Lint Less Non Woven Wiper
-Acetone
-IPA
-Sander w/ 80 grit
-Disposable Universal Spray System and Adapter
