How to Build a DIY Paint Booth - Storable
Last video, we are finished prepping and installing the portholes on my 1979 Hobie 16. Today, we are going to be building a paint booth in preparation of gel coating the entire boat.
The next episodes will revolve around prepping for paint with a bonus on trailer upgrades.
Materials Used (Can easily be sized up or down as needed):
-2 x Self Adhesive Zippers
-1 x 20" Box Fan
-2 x 20"x20" Filter
-100' of 6 mil Plastic Sheeting
-8 x 3/4" PVC Corner Couplings
-16 x 3/4" PVC T-Coupling
-24 x 10' x 3/4" PVC Pipe 480 PSI cut to the following lengths:
-12 x 7' for the verticals
-24 x 5' for the horizontals
-Ratcheting PVC Pipe Cutters
-Duct Tape
-Scissors
-Utility Blade
-Marker
