Minecraft - Revolving Lighthouse Tutorial Using Redstone Lamps
This is an old and very reliable design for a Lighthouse I've had in one of my experimental worlds since in 1.2.3. It still works as of 1.4.7, and only uses vanilla blocks. I have revised the design a little since, improving the performance on older machines, as linked to in the annotations.
Another note, the ingredient list is based on building the mechanism on a flat surface. You should start the build on an 8x8 platform, with the four corner blocks removed, if you don't intend to build it on the ground. A world download will NOT be made available, as the instructions here are sufficient. Also, I blew it up covering the limiter in another video.
And yes, I hate the voice too.
