UltraSense Systems redefines the simplicity to enable Safe Exit functionality for a door exit capability. This thought leadership capability demonstration shows the ability to use SmartSurface HMI TouchPoints to enable capabilities of basic door exit to SafeExit capability through an intelligent HMI controller that offers accurate multi-mode touch sensing, with integrated MCU that enables AI Machine Learning to accurately detect presses and reject accidental activation, plus offer integrated feedback with illumination, audio, and haptic options. This same single touchpoint controller includes secure connectivity to connect to other devices such as the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) to offer greater safety intelligent to detect other objects from bicyclists to automobiles that may endanger passenger and approaching motorist/cyclist.
