Anything created by a conscious observer MUST be conscious. Why?
Because the creator’s “mind” in all its dimension is invariably and totally reflected in the creation.
Proof:
We can reverse engineer any creation to reveal the mind of the creator.
Even inanimate objects are conscious in the sense that they contain information about the creator’s mind.
Meaning is the interaction between anything and an observer.
What is the meaning of your watch or smartphone? Your observations of these objects give them their only meaning!
Similarly, the meaning of human life is granted by the creator of human life and only by him.
Consciousness is the awareness of meaning.
But how can a smartphone be conscious, therefore? Surely, it is not aware!
It is.
The smartphone's awareness to the observations of its creator (us) is PROGRAMMED into the smartphone!
The minute you observe the smartphone it is programmed to become aware of your gaze and respond to its creator.
Similarly, we, human beings, are programmed to respond to the gaze of our creator, to his observation of us.
His gaze, his observations of us give us MEANING. Consciousness is how we experience this meaning.
Consciousness is how we experience the gaze of our creator, being observed by him.
We become through his observation, not only physically, but psychologically as well.
Consciousness is how we experience the process of becoming via our Creator’s observation of us (gaze).
We INTERNALIZE the observer. Another way to look at consciousness is our awareness of this internal observer.
In Chronon Field Theory, the Field is its own universal, privileged observer. This is the PHYSICS. But the observer MUST be nonrandom and conscious. This is the METAphysics.
To translate it to religious language: GOD IS the Time Field. All of us are EVENTS. We are REALIZED POTENTIALS.
Where is all this happening? WITHIN GOD. Within his “mind”, if you wish. This is a far more compelling religious view, IMO. God is not EXTERNAL to Creation. God IS creation. We are all realized potentials in God’s “mind” (the Chronon Field).
The Field (God) is not coming from anywhere. The Time Field has no beginning, nor end. It is TIMELESS.
The Time Field has not been CREATED. It is the only SOURCE OF CREATION.
Only WITHIN the Time Field can and do potentials become events! Only WITHIN GOD can and do we BECOME!
Free will is the residue and a relic or a remnant of our primordial state as POTENTIALS in a UNIVERSE-WIDE superposition.
We used to be potentials in a universe-wise superposition. Our free will was infinite. Then we collapsed into an event WITHIN God (the universal conscious observer). But We retained free will from our previous state as potentials. (This is also the view of some religions, btw).
The universal observer has to be aware in order to choose to make a measurement (to collapse the wave function/superposition or, in CFT, to eventuate a potential).
In ALL monotheistic religions God CREATES knowingly, intentionally, and has a master plan. LOGOS. That is how the New Testament starts. SPEECH is the first divine act in Genesis.
A much more aesthetic, parsimonious, and compelling view - at least IMO - is that god is the field within which we all become via divine observation of us.
God observes us into becoming. Realizes our potential. Makes us be via Him.
