The truth value of some ontological statements is undecidable. So, it is a waste of time to discuss them. “God exists” is one such statement. Another: “minds or consciousness exist”.
Lack of consensual terminology leads to confusing language with reality.
Exclusive reliance on “reverse engineering” from effects to causes, based on self-reporting (like the scriptures, allegedly authored by god).
Problem: effects always lead to multiple possible causes, some of them mutually exclusive. To decide in advance which of these causes is the correct and only one is tautology, a logical fallacy.
