507. Tunafish safari
Jump & shake 4 minutes! Long time no see dear tuna!
Hamlet's castle, Kronborg in Elsinore and Helsingborg welcome you back to Öresund! Perhaps there were bigger schools of them when Shakespeare & "Hamlet" visited the area.
Perhaps Hamlet himself arranged my best shot against Kronborg castle. You'll see the slow-motion shot somewhere in the middle of this video. It was taken from ground in Helsingborg City. Repeat that snippet few times if you like. Big fish, maybe 3 meters and zoom distance to it was about 3 km.

After roughly 60 years... they are really here! Water lovers are excited and
arranged Tuna Safari Trips to Öresund, just for fun! Their jumps are amazing.
The main rush was perhaps August-September 2023 when these shots were taken.
Let's sail and photo-hunt some jumping tunas. This apex predator can jump high over the water surface when chasing its prey. Here outside Helsingborg the pray is often herring and cod, perhaps mackerel and garpike as well.
Our Safari guide told we should keep in mind that every jump is not as individual as you think. There might be about 50-100 individual tunas below the surface... those who never jumped.
