In this tutorial, we are setting up an AI monster battle sandbox using Unity, focusing on creating a monster with patrol, chase, attack Finite State Machine. This doesn't involve any C-sharp in this or the next video. The video walks you through importing and setting up the monster, handling input systems, resolving errors, installing required packages, and creating camera effects. We also deal with some potential errors like missing scripts on the game object, which are resolved by downloading Probuilder.
The video then proceeds to test and verify the sandbox, and import monsters. We delve into the animator and animations, while planning to deal with the components and stats in the next video. In the final part, we bring in new characters, focusing on the animation aspect, and discuss different shading styles for your monsters.
The video is great for those looking to learn Unity monster creation, AI, and animation handling. Make sure to ask any queries in the comments below.
