This headline caught TTG founder Alice Hart-Davis' eye - mainly because these days this is what 50-something looks like - Victoria Beckham, Jo Whiley, Liz Hurley - whereas not all that long ago, 50+ looked more like the Golden Girls.
Fifty-something used to mean stiff grey perms and elasticated waists. Now, it’s fresh-looking faces and shiny youthful hair, a whole new breed of ageless modern goddesses.
Is this inspirational or just raising the bar higher on beauty standards for everyone else?
