Richard Linklater's latest film Hit Man is out on Netflix. Based on true story, the film follows a mild-mannered college professor who moonlights as a fake hit man for the police, only to fall for one of his "clients."
Featuring Linklater's traditional dry humor and led with a powerhouse performance by Glen Powell, Hit Man is both the best romcom of the year and a Jungian interrogation of the self. So of course it only released a limited release in theaters.
