[Statistical Data Analysis Using R]
Moderated mediation effect analysis is a concept that combines mediation effect analysis and moderation effect analysis. It tests whether another variable (the moderating variable) influences the direct or indirect relationship between two variables (the independent variable and the dependent variable) mediated by a mediating variable. If a moderating effect exists, the mediation relationship between the independent and dependent variables may become stronger or weaker, or the relationship may shift in the opposite direction, depending on the magnitude of the moderating variable. The following functions are included in the description: indProd(), sem(), summary(), parameterEstimates().
