Battle of Homestead July 6, 2024 event
The Battle of Homestead Foundation sponsored the July 6, 2024 event commemorating the 132nd anniversary of the July 6,1892 Battle of Homestead. This event was held at the historic Pump House, Munhall, PA. Featured speakers included John Haer, President of the Battle of Homestead Foundation, and labor historians, Howard Scott and James (Jim) Kunz who presented samples of their historic labor buttons, pins, badges and other memorabilia. The Pittsburgh Labor Choir and May Day Marching Band provided musical entertainment.
