Join us for a look into the impactful WWKIDS Dyslexia and Educational Workshops held in Kingston, Jamaica, in honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month! Hosted by Winsome Wishes for KIDS, these October 2024 workshops gathered over 125 educators, parents, and student teachers from across 12 parishes to gain valuable insights and hands-on strategies for advancing literacy, supporting students with dyslexia, and improving executive functioning skills. Our expert team included Dr. Powers from Yale’s Global Literacy Hub, Dr. Karine Clay, and speech-language specialists from the Windward Institute. With practical, engaging content, participants left feeling empowered to make a real difference in the lives of their students.
