REWRITING STAR WARS: EPISODE IX - THE RISE OF SKYWALKER - My Sequel Trilogy Conclusion (Fan Fiction)
Were you disappointed in the conclusion to the Star Wars sequel trilogy? Yeah, me too. That's why I decided to take things in a different direction with this fan fiction video.
For this rewrite, I primarily focused on how to fix things after The Last Jedi had torn everything down that had been set up in The Force Awakens.
In this version of the story, which I call Star Wars: Episode IX - The New Order, I reworked the entire story from the ground up.
I eliminated Palpatine, instead choosing to focus on Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. I felt that after killing Snoke, Kylo had earned his title as the new villain of the franchise, and there was no redeeming him beyond that point. (Sorry, Reylo.)
I also explored Rey's Jedi academy, revealed Finn's secret origin, and streamlined the whole story for a simpler, cleaner, faster, and hopefully more emotional concluding chapter to the sequel trilogy.
