REWRITING TERMINATOR: DARK FATE - Future War In Present Day, Rise Of Resistance (Sequel To Genisys)
What if, instead of getting Terminator: Dark Fate, we had actually gotten a (hopefully good) sequel to Terminator Genisys? Here's my pitch for that movie, called Terminators, which would take place in 2018, one year after Terminator Genisys.
In this pitch, Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as the model T-800 called Pops, and he faces off against Skynet, who is now a humanoid prototype called Alex.
This film would build on the lore and canon of the previous films, rather than rebooting the series.
Like Terminator: Dark Fate, it would explore a future without John Connor, and what that means for his would-be parents, Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese, as well as the rest of the human Resistance against the machines.
UPDATE:
I originally created this video as a pitch for Terminator 6, before Dark Fate came out. Now that it has come out, my worst fears have been realized, so now this video is more of a rewrite than a pitch. This is me completely throwing out Dark Fate and starting from scratch.
