Cornelius Gurlitt (Feb. 10, 1820 - Jun. 17, 1901) was a German composer. His studies took him from Germany to Copenhagen, where he'd reside as an organist and music teacher for 4 years, before moving to Leipzig, then finally Rome. His breadth of compositions ranged from songs, cantatas, symphonies, and operas.

This is the 3rd of 12 pieces in Gurlitt's Kleine Blumen (Little Flowers). The left hand eighth notes were tough to voice properly. And the very last note should've been a little louder in the right hand. Oh well. We'll get em next time.
