How I Upgraded My Mini PC Server (Was It Worth It?)

Mini PCs are the best choice for home lab servers, but they need some extra power to maximize performance.

This Elitedesk 705 G4 mini PC has some impressive specs:
Ryzen 2400 GE 4-core 8-thread processor
16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM
256GB NVME storage
SATA 3 SSD expansion
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity expansion
A large number of USB ports
Ethernet, including 2.5GB/s or even 10GB/s, if desired

But as you can see, there's no physical memory at all. So I decided to buy a 1TB Samsung 870 Evo SATA3 SSD, bringing the total storage to 1256GB! I also decided to replace the fan with a new, quieter one.
