🎙Canon has long been synonymous with quality cameras, so perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised to see the Canon name appearing on PTZ systems.
🎙Tom from Canon PTZ stepped us through the range at Tech Xpo 2024. In addition to the cameras themselves, Canon has some appealing camera controllers, including the entry level RC-IP100 and the pro RC-IP1000 with its 7” touchscreen and wealth of hands-on control options. You don’t need to have a PC running alongside the RC-IP1000, which is always a bonus.
🎙It was refreshing to see Canon showcasing its offering through a live remote production workflow, all connected using the brand’s proprietary XC protocol and powered from a concealed network switch. Much more engaging than isolating products in a museum style display.
🎙We can see Canon PTZ doing well in applications where clients are looking for stellar image quality. Having a brand name they’ve heard can be a plus point too!
