Vintage Guitar Demo: 1960 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish!
1960 is one of the best years of the Fender Stratocaster because of the slab Rosewood fretboard, faded, three tone Sunburst, mint green pickguard, and great sounding black bobbin pickups. This example from late 1960 has survived in really nice condition and is 100% original except for a new nut and a vintage correct refret.

I'm very particular about refrets on vintage guitars. My ideal refret looks and feels exactly the way it did when it left the Fender factory when new. That's how I asked my friend Jason Burns (Burnsrepair.com) to refret this guitar and it came out spectacular! It looks and feels vintage but no worn out. That's the best of both worlds on an original pre-CBS Stratocaster.
